Project Detail
Design Intention
To capture the fleeting beauty of hanami in a suspended moment of time. eternal spring.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese custom of flower viewing (hanami), we created a suspended installation that defies gravity. Over 5,000 silk and preserved cherry blossom branches were meticulously arranged to create a floating cloud of pink and white above the event space.
The installation was designed to interact with the ambient lighting, casting intricate shadows that moved like falling petals across the guests below. It served as both a focal point and an immersive experience, transporting attendees to an ethereal garden suspended in the air.
